Request Account or Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your Ubongo AI account and associated personal data at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed.
- In the app: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, and confirm.
- From the web: use the contact form below and select "Account Deletion Request" as the subject, or email ubongoaihub@gmail.com.
We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some records (e.g. transaction history required for tax or fraud-prevention purposes) may be retained for a limited period as required by law, and are not used for any other purpose.
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, school grade, and payment details when you register or subscribe. We also collect usage data, including lessons viewed, quiz results, and app interactions, to improve your learning experience.
Information is used to personalize study plans, generate AI tutoring responses, process subscription payments, send important account notifications, and improve the platform through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
Ubongo AI uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, restricted employee access, and regular security reviews to protect your data. No system is completely infallible, and we continuously work to strengthen our safeguards.
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service: account and learning-progress data for as long as your account is active, and billing records for the period required by Zambian tax law. When you delete your account, personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days, except for the limited records legally required to be retained.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser at any time.
We may rely on trusted third-party providers for payment processing (including MTN, Airtel, and Zamtel mobile money), cloud hosting, and analytics. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their services.
Ubongo AI is designed for learners in Grades 5–12, some of whom are minors. Accounts for younger students should be created and supervised by a parent, guardian, or school administrator, and we collect only the information necessary to provide the educational service.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Account and data deletion requests, submitted in-app or via the contact form above, are processed within 30 days.
You may also opt out of non-essential communications while retaining access to your account, and you may withdraw consent for optional data processing (such as personalized analytics) without losing access to core learning features.

By creating an account or using Ubongo AI, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.
Users agree to provide accurate registration information, keep login credentials confidential, and use the platform solely for lawful, educational purposes.
All lessons, quizzes, AI-generated content, branding, and platform software are the property of Sacho Innovations and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without written permission.
Ubongo AI offers weekly and monthly subscription plans billed through mobile money. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, in accordance with the pricing shown at checkout.
Ubongo AI is provided to support learning and is not a substitute for formal instruction. We are not liable for exam outcomes, service interruptions, or indirect damages arising from platform use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity, with or without prior notice where necessary.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Zambian courts.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect new features or legal requirements. Continued use of Ubongo AI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
